Letter Love Journal
I'm taking Joanne Sharpe's online course called Letter Love101 and our first assignment was to ready our composition book by gluing pages and decorating the front cover. Here it is! I had great fun doodling with a black copic marker, a Pentel correction pen and then using some red duct tape to give it a little colour. It's not to late to sign up for this class. Click on her link and check it out. It promises to be a lot of fun!

Great to meet you Lori.
DeleteYour journal looks fantastic. I simply love your choice of color. The white really makes everything pop out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rebecca. The correction pens are great for that.
DeleteHi from a fellow class mate....love your over, very vibrant - look forward to sharing the fun x
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn. Great to meet you.
DeleteHi Linda!! Nice to see your blog. Wow, your Letter Love Journal looks full of life! I'm doing this class too :) and have a question about the paper... Is the paper in white? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lludria. The composition books have lined white paper. This one had the wonderful brown craft paper cover. Others had black covers or speckled black and white.
DeleteSo very pretty! I have yet to work on mine...already behind!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy. Don't worry about being 'behind'. Work at your own pace and enjoy the process.
DeleteGreat start Linda. I hope to get something posted by tomorrow. To many things going, but this is going to be a great class
ReplyDeleteHi Ruthanne. Great to meet another Linda and a new cyber buddy!
DeleteOops. The part about another Linda was meant for someone else. That's what my husband would call an OHE (oh how embarrassing ;0p)
DeleteWow, Linda! Your journal is beautiful! From a fellow Linda and fellow classmate!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. Great to meet you.
DeleteI am too! I need to get some duck tape
ReplyDeleteDollarama here in Ontario has duct tape in fun colours but no funky patterns.
DeleteHi Linda!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the class too--haven't had the chance to upload my journal yet. LOVE what how you decorated yours!
Thanks Lisa. Nice to meet you.

Greeting Esther
Hi Esther. It's great to meet so many new cyber friends. I'm glad that you like the white and are inspired to try it. And please don't apologize for you writing. I can understand you perfectly and I knew you meant hope even before you corrected yourself. Those kinds of type-os happen to all of us! My family is originally from Germany and I wish I could read and write but sadly only understand the spoken German.
DeleteEhhh, see previous post
ReplyDeleteI HOPE that you understand me....
Love your cover! I'm taking the class too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nan. It's a fabulous course. So sad that there are only two more days, but with all that we've learned I'm looking forward to using these new skills for years to come.
