Abstract Collage...

Bonnie's challenge this week in Photo Art Friday was to play with a couple of her textures and create an abstract image.  I decided to use some more of my 'pinhead kitty' shots from last weekend's shoot.  I could see using this as some funky wrapping paper. :o)

I played around with a few other filters in Elements and came up with these additional versions.  The first one reminds me of a chalk board.

    1. Thanks Corrine. When I first made it I thought it was just a fun, silly pin cushion. I never imagined it would become a runway model. LOL

  2. What fun effects, Linda! So many ways to see the same things. I love it. Gotta play more with Photoshop. I forget all the millions of things that can be done.

  5. I saw these beautiful kitties on your earlier post and loved them! Adding the chalkboard theme is a fabulous idea and works really well. I have a soft spot for kitties and this one reminds me of one of my own little furry friends, with his wide eyes and toothy smile. Wonderful :)

    1. Thanks Morag. It seems to me I remember seeing a picture of your cat on your blog. If I remember correctly you have a black and white 'tuxedo' cat similar to ours.

  6. I love the first one the best and the little pin head just jumps out at you ... very cool. Truly abstract (mine are not ... can't quite get myself there). These all look like you were having fun ... which is what this is all about, right?

    1. Thanks Ida. I didn't think I'd ever get so much mileage from a silly pin cushion, but it does make a fun little model.
