Stop and Smell the Roses...

...or at least notice all the beauty around you!

All of these shots were taken with my iPhone the other day while I was out walking my dog, Casey, through the woods and park near our home.

"Now" texture compliments of Kim Klassen.

  1. Great series!! I haven't seen any nightshade in a few years. It always makes me think of an Agatha Christie murder story. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

    1. Thanks Birgitta. I'm always amazed at how many flowering plants we see on our walks. Yesterday I saw a tiny little orange one, with a blossom only about 2 mm in diameter. I only noticed it because I dropped something and had to bend down to pick it up.

  9. Great pictures Linda. I was just gushing about you over the weekend & telling people to check out your sight. I'm forever taking pictures of flowers, mushrooms, dead wood, etc...when I'm walking. Most of them get posted on my families acres blog. Thanks for sharing them.

    1. Thanks Molly. Yesterday I noticed a beautiful white peony plant growing up in the woods. Some of these flowers date back to when this was all farm land.
