Peace

Mouse over photo to see the 'before' image.
Kim's word for today, in Beyond Layers, is peace.  You can see from the 'before' shot that I cleaned up the branches that were in the top right corner and then altered the tree line at the bottom.  I used a painterly texture from Jerry Jones at Shadowhouse Creations.

  1. Great manipulation Linda. I love allium seed heads. So ...erm... otherworldly!

    1. Thanks Jen. Allium seed heads are pretty interesting aren't they! Funny, I've often seen them as interesting, planetary sort of shapes.

  7. I guess everyone will comment on the texture and art...I am really overwhelmed with the whole concept of it Linda. The process of making it must have been wonderful ... It is thought provoking.I never knew Hendrix said that, I wonder if he ever found love or peace in this life and did power overwhelm him. Anyway I really really like it. It is dark and it is real. It would be a great poster.

    1. Thank you so much. It was a fun piece to work on and yes, it would make a good poster. Perhaps I'll have a large print made and 'plak-it'. Thanks for the idea.
