I'm excited to share that my piece, Garden Dreams, has been accepted into the upcoming Fibre Content 2014 juried show! I hope you'll be able to come and see this and the other art in person between September 9 - 16, 2014.  See the info below for more details.

Upcoming Shows...

I'm excited to announce that 'Rust' and 'Out of the Blue' have been accepted into a juried art show to be held at the Helson Gallery at the Halton Hills Cultural Centre in Georgetown from June 27th to Sept. 8th, 2013.  If you're in the area, I hope you get the chance to pop in for a visit.
And, while you're in the neighbourhood, please check out the community window at Young's Pharmacy, just around the corner and up the block, on Main St. where I will be displaying some other art as part of a Group of Eight exhibit during the first two weeks of July.  If you make it a Saturday morning you can also take in our farmer's market right there on Main St.!

Threadworks Fibre Art Show: April 20 - June 4

I'm thrilled to announce that my piece, "Ode to Dr. Seuss" has been accepted into Threadworks, a juried fibre art show.

This piece was made with machine felting, hand embroidery and beading, free motion quilting, three dimensional fish and a nod and a wink to Dr. Seuss.  You see, there are two fish, each about 4 inches long and heavily beaded.  One fish is red, the other blue.

Threadworks is a juried exhibition of needle arts, and the theme of this year's show is "Water".

The show runs from April 20 to June 9 at the Wellington County Museum and Archives in Fergus, ON and then will spend the next three years traveling to museums and galleries across Ontario.

Threadworks is a special project of Ontario Network of Needleworkers' in association with Wellington County Museum and Archives.

Exciting News...

I'm excited to announce that "My Year Unravelled" has been accepted into the 6th ANNUAL OPEN JURIED SHOW at Beaux-Arts Brampton.

The show, which runs from April 9th to May 4th, will consist of work in any two or 3 dimensional media with the exception of photography (for which they have a separate show in May).  For more information about show times or other participating artist, click on the image below.

FASM's First Annual Open Juried Show

I'm excited to announce that I've had a piece of my fibre art accepted into the Fine Arts Society of Milton's Juried Exhibition at the Holcim Gallery, Milton Centre for the Arts.  The show runs from December 5, 2012 to January 5, 2013.  I hope you have a chance to stop by the gallery and see the show.

Fibre Content
