Doodling with a Friend...

One of the things I love about doodling and sketching on the deck at the cottage is that I've always got company!

We call this little guy "Out Back Jack"...'cause he lives out back.  He loves to visit for black sunflower seeds or peanuts, but even if I don't have any he comes up and sits on my knee or sketchbook and just visits.  He's so tame I can pat him!
I'm working on lesson #4 for Doodle Arts and Letters, another Joanne Sharpe online class.

I used my Marvy II markers to colour this because I forgot to pack my twinks!

  2. It is amazing to interact with our "wild kingdom." And I'm loving your doodles. I've just discovered doodles myself and signed up for Joanne's Journal class.

    1. He's a funny little guy and he's not afraid of sniffing my golden retriever's paws when she's lying out on the deck with me.

    1. Thanks! He's a lot of fun to have around and my dog doesn't bother him at all. I just have to remind Casey that the chippy is my friend and she lets him be. Pretty amazing!

    1. Thanks Kathie. The hand/wrist are still giving me a lot if trouble and I've been back and forth from the cottage a lot, so I'm unplugged for much of the time. I did finish my ATC for the swap though!

  11. My parents had a squirrel that would come up and ring the doorbell when she wanted peanuts. Nice that you have such a friend.
