Machine Doodling on White...next steps...

I finished the next stage of this piece (you can see the first post about it here) so that I'd be able to take it with me and work on the hand stitching while sitting in the hospital with my aunt.  I used Tsukineko ink in black and spring green.  When using these inks on fabric, they need to be heat set with a hot dry iron!

The next step is to add lots of French knots in the green and then decide what to do with the white areas.

    1. Right now I'm just focussing on what feels like millions of little green French knots...it's really starting to look great (if I do say so myself LOL). Hope you're having a great weekend Jean!

    1. Thanks Barb, and yes I'm really enjoying all the French knots right now. Eventually I might get sick of making them because there will be a lot, but for now it's still fun. :o)

  4. Happy stitching! My hands can only do so much hand stitching so enjoy! I had fun looking at your piece and rotating it for different perspectives! Can't wait to see what is next!

    1. Thanks Susan. It's slow going as I've been trying to work on it while also supporting my aunt who has been in hospital. Fortunately she was discharged today and went home to live with her son.
